Help Keep Collingham and Linton Clean
Published: 12 March 2026
Collingham with Linton Parish Council would like to remind residents to clean up after their dogs in all public spaces.
Dog fouling is not only unpleasant and unsightly, but it also presents a serious health risk, particularly to young children.
It is a criminal offence to allow your dog to foul in a public place and not clean it up and enforcement action in our area is carried out by authorised officers from Leeds City Council, who have the power to issue on-the-spot fines. Reports from residents, including witness statements, can also lead to enforcement action.
If you witness dog fouling or wish to report an affected area, please contact Leeds City Council:

🌐 Report online via Clean and Clear Streets – leeds.gov.uk
Reports can relate to pavements, public footpaths, parks, verges, and other public areas. Even if you do not know who is responsible, reporting helps target patrols and cleaning resources effectively.
Dog waste bins are available around the village – please use them, or dispose of waste responsibly at home.
Let’s work together to keep Collingham and Linton clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone!
